How many designs fit on a DTF gang sheet?
Based on standard 11 to 12 inch adult designs, a 22"x36" sheet fits roughly 12 to 15 logos, a 22"x72" fits about 30 to 34, and the 22"x174" fits about 72 to 85. Counts are approximate and depend on your actual artwork size; leave about a quarter inch between designs so each piece cuts clean.
What file type and resolution should I upload?
Send a PNG (preferred) or PDF at 300 DPI minimum, in RGB, with a transparent background and a maximum width of 22 inches. Minimum line weight is 3 px for color and 4 px for white at 300 DPI, since thinner lines will not hold on the film.
What are the press settings for these DTF transfers?
Press at 290-300 degrees F for 7-12 seconds, then hot peel. Repress for 5-10 seconds with a textured Teflon sheet (or a similar pressing sheet) on top, and use a heat press rather than an iron for even heat and pressure.
Is there a minimum order, and how fast does it ship?
There are no minimums; you can order a single sheet of any listed size. Gang sheets and transfers ordered by 12 PM Mountain time (MonβFri) ship the same day by 4:30 PM (orders over 500 inches of film: as fast as we can, not guaranteed same day) from Roman Empire Print Shop's Great Falls, Montana and Santaquin, Utah facilities.
Should I order DTF or UV DTF?
DTF is for fabric and soft goods, so this gang sheet is the right choice for shirts, hoodies and other apparel. UV DTF is for hard surfaces like tumblers, glass, wood, metal and hard plastic and applies with pressure and a slow peel, no heat press needed.
Will DTF transfers work on black shirts?
Yes. DTF prints a white underbase layer beneath the color, so artwork stays true on dark garments, and these transfers work on all fabric types and colors.
