Single Custom DTF Transfer

In short: A Single Custom DTF Transfer from Roman Empire Print Shop is one individual heat-press transfer printed from your own artwork and sized to your garment, sold from $1.50 for a 2.5" x 2.5" crest print up to $7.50 for a 14" x 14" oversized adult print. It is made for anyone who does not need a full gang sheet - testing a new design, small runs, or filling one-off orders - and there are no minimums, so you can order a single transfer.

Quick answers

How much does a single DTF transfer cost?

Pricing is by size: 2.5" x 2.5" and 3.5" x 3.5" crest prints are $1.50, 4.5" is $1.75, 5.5" is $2.00, 6.5" is $2.25, 7.5" youth is $2.50, 9" is $2.75, 10" is $3.00, 11" is $3.25, 12" XL is $6.50, 13" is $7.00 and 14" is $7.50. What sizes are available and which one should I pick?

Sizes run from 2.5" x 2.5" and 3.5" x 3.5" for crest or pocket prints, 4.5" infant, 5.5" toddler, 6.5" small youth, 7.5" youth, 9" small adult, 10" and 11" adult, 12" XL adult, 13" for 2X-3X and 14" for 4X and up. The size you select is based on the actual artwork, since blank or transparent space is automatically trimmed.

What file type should I upload?

PNG is preferred and PDF is accepted, at 300 DPI minimum, RGB color mode, with a transparent background and no white box behind the art. Max width is 22 inches, and we print exactly what you send, so check the file before uploading.

What are the press settings for these DTF transfers?

Press at 290-300 degrees F for 7-12 seconds, hot peel, then repress 5-10 seconds with a teflon sheet. Use a heat press rather than an iron so heat and pressure stay even.

Is there a minimum order?

No. You can order 1 transfer or 1,000.

How fast do orders ship?

Gang sheets and transfers ordered by 12 PM Mountain time (Mon–Fri) ship the same day by 4:30 PM (orders over 500 inches of film: as fast as we can, not guaranteed same day), and Roman Empire Print Shop ships nationwide from romanempireprinting.com with production in Great Falls, Montana and Santaquin, Utah.

Should I use DTF or UV DTF for my project?

DTF is for fabric and soft goods and is applied with a heat press. UV DTF is for hard surfaces such as tumblers, glass, wood, metal and hard plastic, and it applies with pressure and a slow peel with no heat.
